Jonathan Sit, M.A., R.P. (Qualifying)

Jonathan has over 18 years of experience working with youth and families. Not only does he have an exceptional way of connecting with youth, he has a deep understanding of the unique struggles they face in our world today.

Jonathan has been a teacher with the York Region District School Board for 18 years, and his current role includes being a Guidance teacher. He helps youth with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, anger issues, social problems, and family conflict.

Jonathan has training in evidence-based therapies including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. Most importantly, Jonathan’s work is client-centred.

He is qualifying as a registered psychotherapist, and his work is supervised by Deborah Epstein M.Ed., R.P.
